10-week-old infant presented to the office due to excessive muscle tone and spasticity. Mother reports that he has difficulty with eating and cannot keep food down.
She was referred to the office by another patient with an infant of similar age that had been under care from birth with no difficulties and was growing and thriving.
After the first Adjustment, patient’s muscle tone appeared to improve. Following each successive Adjustment, baby appeared happier and calmer. Muscle tone has continued to show improvement and will be re-evaluated upon upcoming progressive examination.
Weekly care to check infant’s nervous system and muscle function has been provided in an attempt to optimize his health.
